Self storage facilities rent space to individuals or businesses on a short-term or long-term basis (often month-to-month). Rent starts on the day you move in which is then called your anniversary date. Rent is due each month on this date.

At our other storage locations in Edmonton, we offer video surveillance and individual coded entry to ensure your belongings are always secure. Multiple facilities in the Edmonton area allow us to provide flexible, convenient storage options to suit your location and unique storage needs.
We welcome walk-ins and don't require a reservation. However, because specials can change and availability can be limited, we recommend booking beforehand to secure the unit. If you cannot make it into the office during regular business hours, reservations and move-ins can be made online. Renting online is fast, easy, and convenient, allowing you to complete your rental anytime from the comfort of your home.
GETTING STARTED
Identify the amenities you need for your storage space and the type of storage unit needed—drive-up access, climate-controlled storage, unheated storage, accessibility, etc. Each of our locations offers a variety of unit sizes and features, so be sure to ask which location best fits your requirements. If you’re unsure, we’re happy to help guide you to the right unit, or you can check our guide on how to choose a storage unit.
Educate yourself on what you cannot store in your storage unit (food, food-related products, combustible items, illegal substances, etc.). Proper storage practices from all customers keep our facilities safe.
Discounts may be offered for military members or seniors. Be sure to ask what may be available to you during move-in. Please note that applicable discounts require valid proof of designation at the time of rental.
MOVING IN
Come into the facility during office hours and our helpful, friendly staff can get you all set up in about 10 minutes. You must pay the current month’s rent before moving in. You can bring your own lock for the roll-up door on your unit or choose to purchase one from our onsite office.
Insurance on storage units is required. We offer affordable storage insurance through a third-party carrier, as most home insurance policies have limited or restricted coverage for storage units. If your policy does offer adequate protection, provide a copy of your insurance certificate to opt out of our insurance program.
Elite Self Storage sells a variety of boxes, locks, and packing supplies to assist customers in packing and securing their belongings. Complimentary rolling carts or moving dollies are also available upon request to make moving in easier.
Once the rental agreement is signed and payment is made, you’ll receive an access code to enter the facility. For added convenience, online move-ins are available 24/7, allowing you to complete the entire move-in process anytime that works for you.
DURING YOUR STAY
You can access your unit during our extended access hours, seven days a week, from 6 AM to 10 PM.
We offer multiple payment options for your convenience. You can also set up automatic payments to avoid late fees or disruptions to access.
If rent is not paid on your anniversary date, late fees will be applied, and gate access will be disabled. Our team will contact you via phone, email, or text to remind you of the overdue payment.
Self-storage facilities may conduct storage auctions to vacate non-paying tenants, following the enforcement rights outlined in the rental agreement. If the debt remains unpaid after several attempts to contact you, a registered letter with the auction date will be mailed. Individuals can settle their balance at any time before the auction begins.
MOVING OUT
You are required to give one month’s notice before vacating your unit. If your plans change and you decide not to move out, just let us know and we’ll be happy to extend your rental.
On your move-out day, please remove all items from your unit, including your lock. Make sure your unit is swept and free of any spills or damage. Once you’re done, notify our staff and we’ll promptly close your account.
