Joining Rock’n August in 2017 as a major sponsor, Riel Park RV & Self Storage hosted the kickoff lunch in support of Alberta Diabetes.
During the barbeque lunch, three lockers were auctioned off, Storage Wars style. The auctioneer, Counsellor Ray Watkins, generously donated his time to this great cause. Ray auctioned off three lockers filled with various items. Some of these items included an Edmonton Eskimos jersey autographed by quarterback Mike Reilly, an amp and guitar autographed by Theory of a Dead Man, Harley Davidson parts, Fitness equipment from Flaman Fitness and different gift cards from local businesses.
Proceeds from the auction went to support the Stop Abuse in Families (SAIF) Society and Alberta Diabetes research. Lunch came with live entertainment by David Jukebox Leigh who was entertaining and got out into the crowd.
Riel Park RV & Self Storage was proud to be a local community member by sponsoring this event and helping raise money for these great charities.
