Do you have a unit to suit my needs?

We offer a range of storage solutions to accomodate your personal and business needs. If you are moving or renovating, we have personal storage units available to store furniture, electronics, artwork, family keepsakes and seasonal items such as decorations, lawn or garden furniture and kayaks. For business or commerical customers looking to declutter or expand your business, we also have office and boardroom rentals. All our units are climate controlled storage units which maintain a set temperature range to better protect your belongings from the extreme cold or heat. I've never used self storage before. How does it work?

Self-storage facilities rent space on a short-term or long-term basis to individuals or businesses. Rent starts on the day you move in, and this becomes your monthly payment date. At Elite Self Storage Langford storage unit rentals are done on a month-to-month basis, only pay for the time you need with no long term commitment. For anyone moving, relocating, decluttering or for lifes unexpected changes; self storage is a great solution.

When can I move in?

If there is a storage space available, you can move in anytime. You can reserve or move into a unit online, by visiting our rental office in person or by telephone. No notice is necessary however it is a good idea to reserve a unit to avoid disappointment. Depending on availability, reservations can be modified or changed based on your needs.

What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?

We require a government issued photo ID (example: driver's license or passport).

Do I need to bring my own lock?

You may bring your own lock or purchase a lock from our rental office at very reasonable prices. We sell various styles of locks however disc locks are the most secure.

Do I need to sign a long term contract?

No, we do not require any long term commitment. You will need to sign a rental agreement at the time you move in, however all our storage units are rented on a month-to-month basis.

Can I pay my bill online?

To pay your bill online, please click on the My Account link on the top right corner of the main screen to begin this quick and simple process.

If you are an existing user, you will be prompted to enter your username and password. If you are a first time user, you must click on the “Claim Account” button and complete the mandatory fields.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept the following payment types:

  • Cash
  • VISA
  • Mastercard
  • Interac Debit
  • Preauthorized Bank Debit
We also offer safe and secure payments online or pre-authorized payments. Sign up for pre-authorized payments withdrawn from your credit card or bank account each month; never worry about missing a payment.

What is my responsibility if my address changes?

You are responsible for informing us of any change to your contact information as soon as possible.

Does Elite Self Storage Langford charge a security deposit or admin fee?

No we do not require a security deposit or charge an administrative fee. There is no cost to reserve a unit; just your first months rent is due when signing your contract.

Can I sign a contract for a friend or relative?

No, when you sign the rental agreement you are agreeing to all the terms and conditions, therefore you cannot sign a contract for your friend or relative.

Are there any items that I am NOT to store?

Yes, you are prohibited from storing anything flammable, food, food related products, plants, or any other living things. Storage units are for furniture, documents, and household items. If there is a specific item you are curious about please talk to a staff member.

Can I access my storage unit when the rental office is closed?

Absolutely! At Elite Self Storage Langford our access hours are 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, 365 days a year.

Do you have dollies or moving carts available?

Yes, you are welcome to use our complimenary carts and dollies to move in.

I forgot my individual access code, what now?

Come into the office with your ID and we will provide it to you.

Can anyone else access my storage unit?

If you would like to give a friend, family member or employee access to your storage unit, you must specify this on your agreement. Elite Self Storage Langford will only provide access codes for individuals listed on the rental agreement.

Are my items insured?

No, we do not insure your contents so please check with your insurance company. Many homeowner or renter policies do not cover items stored at a self storage facility however you may be able to add additional coverage to your existing policy. Get peace of mind knowing your items are covered by checking with your insurance company.

Do you sell packing supplies?

Yes, we sell boxes, locks, packing paper, bubble wrap, mattress covers and much more. Visit our rental office to pickup all your moving and packing supplies.

What is the procedure for moving out?

At Elite Self Storage Langford we require 30 days notice that you plan on vacating your storage unit. We do however realize plans change, if your plans change please call and let our rental office know. Once your unit is empty, you must inform the rental office so that a unit inspection can be conducted. Please ensure your storage unit has been completely empty and broom swept.

Do you have a referral program?

Most definately! We greatly appreciate referrals to your family, friends and business associates. For each new client you refer we will issue a $50 credit on account for both you and your friend as long as your friend rents for a minimum of 3 months. This credit can be used towards future rent, merchandise or other services.
